Parrillo Protein Brownies

Never once did I imagine I’d use the word healthy and brownies in the same sentence. But it’s true – Parrillo Brownies are so clean you could even eat them on a fat loss or contest prep diet. These high-protein low-carb brownies are so good you could eat the entire pan without the guilt!

What I do know is that over the years Parrillo has been producing some of the best quality products on the Sports Nutrition market so why should the brownies be any different. At first glance anyone would be skeptical. But mix up a batch yourself, pop ‘em in to the microwave for a few short minutes and you’ll soon find out just how serious these brownies are.

The ingredients list is quite short with whey protein at the top. Each brownie contains 4 grams of protein and only 1.4 grams of carbs (no sugar). Mix the protein mix with water and Parrillo’s CapTri MCT oil (or any choice oil) then pour in to microwave safe dish or brownie pan. You can microwave or bake the brownies in the oven. Let them cool and enjoy!

Personally, baking the brownies in the oven was my top choice. They came out soft and gooey with a slight crisp topping similar to your average full fat brownie. Don’t expect them to taste as good as the real thing – but be ready to finally enjoy a guiltless treat even when dieting!
