| Ingredients: |
4-8 ounce sea bass fillets
4 green onions, shredded 1/2 cup rice vinegar 2 tablespoons fermented black bean paste (found in Oriental markets) 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, sliced |
| Instructions |
Combine rice vinegar, ginger root and enough water to fill the bottom of a steamer or large saucepan with two inches of liquid. Arrange fish on steaming tray or large plate. Spread black bean paste over fillets and top with shredded green onion. Bring liquid to a boil. Place fish on a rack one inch above liquid. Cover and steam 10 to 20 minutes or until fish pulls away in large flakes.
