Obesity Linked to Sexual Problems In Women
Many women are obsessed with thinness because they want better sex. A French study showed that their concerns are justified. Compared to normal-weight women, obese women were 30 percent less likely to have had a sex partner within the past 12 months, less likely to use contraceptives, and more likely to have an unintended pregnancy. Obesity was not related to sexual dysfunction in women, but it was highly related to erectile dysfunction in men. Obesity has negative sexual effects in women and men.
