    Default Starting my P90X journey

I am so excited to be a newbie on this website!! I love the magazine, it always has great tips and interesting articles, but my favorite part of it are the success stories!! I hope to be one of them in the forums!! I recently went from working 10 years on nightshift to a day position and blame this huge transition for alot of the weight gain I have experienced. I have gained 15 pounds since September and have become very unhappy with the way I look in the mirror. I guess I also have to blame it partially on age as well, I know I am no spring chicken anymore. I have always taken it for granted that I could eat whatever whenever, and it never reflected on the scale. My goal is to lose the 15 pounds I gained and tone as well. I have purchased multiple workout videos, and they tend to collect dust...but I tell my husband that they are there when I get ready to use them Anyway I had bought P90X when it first came out and have laid out a workout regimen that I am hoping to follow to the letter!! I had the original P90 in 2003 and that is when I looked and felt my best, then we moved and I let it fall out of my routine So ladies here I go!!!!

    Hi Angela,
I left spring chicken behind years ago. I'm now 51 years old, and since fall of 08 I've lost 90 LBS.
    It's never too late.
Get a fitness program, and stay on it.
    Blessings.

welcome Angela! I'm a newbie myself, but already experience great support from the gals here on the forum! I'm thinking of buying the P90x programme too, so please keep us informed about how you're doing and what you think of it Stay cool!
