Women should exercise at a moderate intensity for least 150 minutes per week— about 30 minutes, five times per week. Which kind of aerobic exercise is best for weight loss and health? A University of Nebraska at Kearney study showed that energy expenditure was similar during treadmill and elliptical trainer exercise completed at the same perception of effort.
