Stretching and Flexibility
Boy do I love to stretch. I do it everywhere, even while standing in line at the grocery store. Of course, not full out sitting on the floor, legs apart and arms out stretching, but the little stretches that don't cause too many heads to turn. It feels so good and gives me energy. Plus, there are so many benefits. Stretching helps with relaxation, helps prevent injury, preserves range of motion in joints, increases circulation, reduces muscle tension and more.
Confuse Your Muscles Part II
To elaborate on that previous article I am including a detailed way to confuse your muscles during weight training. Start out by making a list of 6-10 exercises per body part and mix and match 3-5 exercises per muscle group depending on your workout split. After making out your plan, keep it for reference. This way you can change it up the following week.
